Areas of Interest

Dr. Russell is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Carson Newman College. Dr. Russell obtained her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, where she was an honors graduate. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Mercer University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Dr. Russell’s medical interests include obesity medicine, general gastroenterology and IBD.

She is affiliated with The Center for Digestive and Liver Health and Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, South Carolina and will serve the Hardeeville, Bluffton and Beaufort communities.
